Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Updo / Special Event Hairstyle.

Most updo appointments take 60 to 90 minutes depending on complexity, hair length, and any added extensions or accessories. Allow extra time if you desire a trial, consultation, or additional styling services on the same day.

Yes — with quality products, proper pinning, and humidity-resistant sprays, your updo can last through dancing and heat. We tailor hold level to your activity and climate, and can add reinforcement or extra pins for peace of mind.

We offer trial sessions by appointment for weddings and major events when scheduled in advance. Trials allow shape, volume, and accessories to be tested so you’re confident on the event day. Additional fees and booking windows may apply.

Updos work with most hair lengths and textures; medium to long hair is ideal. For shorter or fine hair, we use padding, braids, or clip-in extensions to create volume and structure. Your stylist recommends the best techniques during consultation.

Absolutely — we can incorporate veils, combs, fresh flowers, jeweled pins, and family heirloom pieces. Bring accessories to your consultation or trial so we can secure them properly and ensure they complement the style and remain comfortable all event long.

Book as early as possible, especially for wedding dates and weekends; we recommend reserving 1–3 months in advance. Last-minute appointments may be available but options and preferred stylists could be limited during peak seasons.
